About Us

We provide a licensed bar & dining venue for the communities south of Townsville.

Alligator Creek Community & Sports Club Inc is run by volunteers for the members and has been operating for over 30 years, servicing the communities south of Townsville.

We are located next to council sports fields, basketball, tennis and others.

The Lawn Bowls club utilizes the Bowling Green supplied by the community club & the community club provides its facilities to Bowls Club Members. The Bowlers run raffles on Friday Nights together with Jackpot Joker. The Angling Club run raffles on Thursday nights. The ever popular Burger Bar operates from 6.30 pm with last orders taken at 8pm. They provide a FREE sausage sizzle for all kids every Thursday night. A take away service is also available.

Did you know?

Our name has changed a few times over the years. We were originally called 'Duggan Plains Bowls Club' which was later changed to 'Alligator Creek Bowls Club' in 1994. The Bowls club separated out & became a separate entity. The main Club was renamed to "Alligator Creek Community & Sports Club Inc" in 2016.

Fancy an evening of bowling? Our bowling greens were recently refurbished and are noted as the best in the Townsville area. Come & try Twilight Bowls on a Wednesday evening from 7pm.

Fancy a Social game? Contact the Bowlers for a Sunday afternoon roll up. Members of affiliated clubs welcome.

QCWA Alligator Creek Branch - ACES

The Country Women’s Association Gator Girls meet at Alligator Creek Community club at various times for meetings, fund raising and social functions.

Alligator Creek Angling Club

They provide steak burgers on Thursday nights along with raffles.

Mahjong Club

The Mahjong Club ladies meet on a Friday morning to play.

Creeky Crafters

A group of nimble fingered ladies who have a chat whilst doing their favourite craft. The ladies share their skills – teaching others to learn something new. These ladies meet at the club on the 2^nd & 4^th Wednesdays of each month as well as the 2^nd Sunday of each month.
